All About Ponies
For kids who love ponies! Learn what makes ponies tick, care for them, listen to them and teach them.
These classes will not involve riding.
Course Objectives:
- Become familiar with horse breeds, parts of the horse and other useful horse trivia.
- Learn about how to safely interact with horses and complete fun obstacle courses with the ponies.
- Raise awareness of horse communication signals, which empowers children to make thoughtful and safe interactions with horses.
- Work with horses using humane methods following scientific principles.
- Learn about the basic care horses require from their specialised diet to grooming and handling.
- Have fun and meet other horse lovers!
These classes are suitable for kids of all ages.
Classes starting term 3 will run in 4 week blocks for $140 per block.
Family sessions are also available by appointment.
